In the quiet courtyard garden of The Grand, in Amsterdam city centre, lies the Garden Terrace, a terrace you would never suspect from the Oudezijds Voorburgwal. You eat from the Mediterranean menu of Oriole Garden Bistro, and when the weather is good, dishes from Bridges and The Flying Dutchman come outside too. With an aperitif or on an evening under the stars, you drink cocktails, wine or coffee. In summer there is live music, and on a number of Sundays there is brunch.
